New Record

Tomorrow we start pre-production on our new record which we've comically entitled Cocaine Computer... for now. We will be tracking the record in the hills of Los Feliz with producer Bryce Gonzales, he did the new Kurt Vile joint. We also worked with him on our last effort Kite Fire. I will be making an attempt to film it using my trustee iPhone. So let's get excited!

Flowerss

I hate to beat this into the ground, especially for those who follow us on facebook and twitter. But... I recorded an album called Charm under the name Flowerss. Flowerss is a collaboration with Austin, TX based DJ/Producer Andy Hoke (aka Bird Peterson). This project is very close to the heart for me. These songs were written shortly after I lost my father to a battle with diabetes. If you have a chance please give the songs some time. They are definitely very different from Buildings but the pay off is gratifying.

Don't call it a come back!

So as a few of you may or may not know, we are going to be recording a new record. I recently made the move from Sacramento to Los Angeles to continue writing this record and be closer to Chris V. (Bass) and Kevin (Lead Guitar). Melanie should follow us down here sooner than later. Our buddy Bryce Gonzales who we worked with on the Kite Fire e.p. is taking over the recording and producing duties. I can not say when the record will be finished or when you'll be able to hear it. Melanie and I are tying the knot this September so I'm hoping it will be before then.

Buildings Breeding Break Up

Dearest Friends and Family,

We regret to inform you of our demise. We are ever so humble and grateful for all of your love and support through out the years. It has been so pleasing to share our little group with all of you. As we disband we do not do so on a sad note, we have had a full run with no regrets or disappointments​.​
We will not leave you empty handed, our farewell record entitled “Kite Fire” will be due out in November. It is by far the most proud we have been since releasing the “Buildings Breeding” LP. We hope you will find the same joy in it as we had creating it.

We will be playing four final shows:

Oct. 8th at Sophia’s, Davis w/ The Mumlers
Oct. 24th at Old Ironsides Sacramento.
Nov. 20th, at TBA Sacramento.
Nov. 21st at Delta of Venus, Davis.
